Synteny between apple, peach and strawberry. Results of search for F. vesca and M. domestica chromosomal regions syntenic to a P. persica 50 kb stretch including the MLO homolog PpMLO3 (corresponding to ppa003437m in the genomic database of Rosaceae), boxed. Shaded polygons indicate aligned regions between genomes. Grid lines are meant to indicate insertions/deletions between the genomes of F. vesca and M. domestica with respect to the P. persica reference sequence.
