The enzyme activity was determined in presence of 100 µM Fru-1,6-P₂ and 50 µM AMP. These concentrations were the A _0.5 and the I _0.5 values, respectively, as this range maximized the sensitivity of the enzyme for these effectors. Other conditions for the assays were as described under Materials and Methods.
