DBM+: both face and house drift-rate parameters estimated across probabilistic cues with free starting-point parameter. MSM: starting-point and face and house drift-rate parameters estimated across probabilistic cues. D̄, the expected deviance score for each model that measures lack of fit between the model and the data. pD, the effective number of parameters used to fit the model. DIC, deviance information criterion summarizes each model as a combination of its (lack of) fit to the data and its complexity, DIC = D̄ + pD. Thus, the model with the lowest DIC score is favored over alternatives.
