Table 2.

Isotopic results for Mg-suite samples. Sr isotopic composition fractionation corrected to 86Sr/88Sr=0.1194. The average value for 87Sr/86Sr obtained for NIST-987 Sr=0.7102561±0.0000013 (n=5), but the data in the table are reported relative to a value of 0.71025. Nd is fractionation corrected to 146Nd/144Nd=0.7219, with 143Nd/144Nd reported relative to a value of 0.512115 for the JNdi Nd standard. Hf is fractionation corrected to 179Hf/177Hf=0.7325 and reported relative to a value of 176Hf/177Hf=0.282160 in the JMC-475 Hf standard. All fractionation correction is done assuming exponential mass dependency. 142Nd/144Nd and 176Hf/177Hf are corrected for neutron capture as explained in the text. The LLNL Hf isotopic data were measured on an unspiked aliquot.
