All assays were done in triplicate.

The K_i was determined from the slope (K_m/V_max) replot at varying inhibitor concentration. The K_i′ was determined similarly from the y-intercept (1/V_max) replot.

The y-intercept did not vary with increasing inhibitor, indicating a competitive inhibitor.

The inhibition constants are in units of micromolar, with error in parentheses.
