40 ELISA was performed in naïve, sham, and at various days (1, 3, 7, 14, 21, and 28) post-injury (n=4/group). Aβ, which is the cleavage product of APP by Bace1 and γ-secretase, is significantly increased at 1 and 3 days after SCI (p value <0.01). There are no differences in the Aβ level between naïve and sham mice.
