Mouse MBL-A and ficolin-A suppress LPS-mediated IL-6 and TNF-α production on mBMMCs. mBMMCs were stimulated with LPS (200 ng/ml, smooth type from E. coli serotype O4), which was pre-incubated with mouse MBL-A or ficolin-A. As a negative control, buffer alone was used instead of LPS. mIL-6 (A) and mTNF-α (B) levels in the supernatant were determined by ELISA. Data are represented as means ± S.D. from triplicate experiments. Results are representative of at least three independent experiments that yield similar results.
