A preliminary experiment was conducted on 17 subjects with acute cerebral infarction. Shown here are the average SI and standard deviation versus threshold I _peak,DWI+n, n ranging from 0 to 30. A suitable threshold was I _peak,DWI+19 and the resultant average SI was 92.352±6.944%.
