A. Acute pyrilamine significantly (10 mg/kg. p<0.025; 20 mg/kg, p<0.0005 and 40 mg/kg, p<0.0005) reduced IV nicotine self-administration in the operant licking paradigm (mean±sem)

B. Acute pyrilamine significantly (10 mg/kg, p<0.005; 20 mg/kg, p<0.0005 and 40 mg/kg, p<0.0005) reduced operant licking on the active side, whereas no significant pyrilamine effect was seen with licks on the inactive side (mean±sem) (N=12).
