Terc+/+ keratinocytes and SCC exhibit recombination at telomeric sister chromatids. Chromosome orientation-fluorescent in situ hybridization was performed on human U2OS (A), mouse Terc+/+ SCC (B), mouse Terc−/− SCC (C), human NHEK (D), and human HOK16B (E) cells. Nuclei were counterstained with DAPI. Scale bar = 2 μm. A minimum of three independent experiments was performed. Representative photomicrographs are shown.
