The complexes were visualized by staining with 2% uranyl acetate. In panel A, the monomer/nucleotide ratio is 10:1, and in panel B, 1:10. (C and D) ORF6ΔC with M13 ssDNA. In panel C, the reaction was carried out for 10 min at 37°C with a monomer/nucleotide ratio of 10:1. In panel D, the reaction was carried out with a monomer/nucleotide ratio of 5:1 and performed at 20°C. Arrows indicate nucleoprotein filaments.
