Protective activity of anti-PcrV MAbs V2L2MD and MAb166.2a in the acute murine pneumonia model. BALB/c mice (n = 10) were injected i.p. with V2L2MD, MAb166.2a, or control (con) IgG at the indicated concentrations 24 h before intranasal infection with ∼2× the LD100 dose of P. aeruginosa. The animals were monitored for survival up to 96 h. The results are represented as Kaplan-Meier survival curves; differences in survival were calculated by the log rank test for V2L2MD versus MAb166.2a.
