Simplified processing diagram for respiratory motion correction of complex real-time acquired images. A non-rigid motion field for each real-time image frame is estimated by image registration of the real-time images with a fixed reference image (from a heartbeat at end-expiration) for each cardiac phase. The motion field is then used to warp the complex images at the corresponding time.
