The finding that latB displaced carriers from the SPK to the MT conveyor belt allowed us to determine that the trajectories of MyoE and RabE colocalize, delineating MTs. These experiments were carried out with strain MAD4403 cultured on fructose, with MyoE-GFP being expressed from an endogenously tagged myoE allele (Taheri-Talesh et al., 2012).
