In vivo gene transfer study. DNA NPs were injected intratracheally in wild-type mice at doses of 50, 10, 2, 0.5 or 0.1 μg DNA/mouse. Animals were sacrificed and luciferase activity of lungs and tracheas were assayed on day 5. Results are shown as mean ± SD. Each DNA NP group contains 4–5 mice.
