A–B) Rag1−/− and Rag1−/− Btla−/−(A) or Rag1−/−Hvem−/− (B) mice were infected i.p. with 1×106 CFU Listeria-OVA and mice survival was observed. C) Rag1−/− mice were infected i.p. with 1×106 CFU Listeria-OVA and treated with 200μg of mouse IgG or HVEM-Ig. Seven days later, the bacteria burden in spleen and liver was tested. The results are representative of three independent experiments, five to seven mice in each group and data are represented as mean +/− SEM. See also Figure S3.
