(A) In the control group, apoptotic cells were rarely seen. (B) In the sham group, few apoptotic cells were observed. (C) In the model group, the number of apoptotic cells was increased. (D–F) In the SSTF low-, medium-, and high-dose groups, the number of apoptotic cells was significantly reduced compared with the model group, and only a few apoptotic cells were visible in the SSTF high-dose group.
