Figure 5

Effect of BV on NF-κB activation in lung cancer cells. Lung cancer cells treated with BV (1, 2 and 5 μg/mL) for 1 h, and then were lysed. (A) Nuclear extract was incubated in binding reactions of 32P-end-labeled oligonucleotide containing the κB sequence. The present EMSA results are representatives of three experiments; (B) Cytosolic proteins were used to determine expression of IκB, p-IκB and β-actin (internal control) and nuclear proteins were used to expression of p50, p65 and histone H1 (internal control) in lung cancer cells. Each band is representative for three experiments; (C) Effect of siRNA of DR3 on the BV-induced NF-κB inactivation. Each band is representative of three experiments.
