aFor unexplained reasons, we have consistently found reactions of the plaque proteins myozap and ZO-1 in adherens junctions of Sertoli cells in the rodent testes but not in the other species examined in which only the adherens junctions of the endothelial and some interstitial mesenchymal cells showed myozap- and/or ZO-1-positive junctions
