LMW-HA binding to CD44v10 induces CD44v10-EphA2 complex formation, recruitment, and activation of Src and Src-mediated EphA2 tyrosine phosphorylation. These events are required for recruitment of the scaffolding protein, PATJ, and consequent recruitment of the rhoGEF, Dbs, to induce RhoA activation and angiogenesis.
