Knockdown of VIMP affects the cycling of Bap31 within the ER after BFA washout. HeLa cells were transfected without (Mock) or with siRNA(210). At 66 h after transfection, BFA was added to a final concentration of 10 μm, and the cells were incubated for 30 min and then washed to remove BFA. At the indicated times after BFA washout, the cells were fixed and double-stained with antibodies against Bap31 and GM130. Scale bar = 5 μm. Quantitative data are shown at the bottom. Experiments were repeated three times with similar results.
