(A and B) Each pair was classified as high, mid, or low rsc, for both evoked (A) and spontaneous (B) correlated variabilities, based on the total distribution of rsc values (top). (C) Pairs with high evoked rsc had a higher probability of having zero-spanning synchrony. Pairs with high evoked rsc had a larger magnitude of zero-spanning synchrony. (D) Level of rsc, either spontaneous or evoked, did not affect either the probability or magnitude of offset synchrony.
