Risk factors for type 2 diabetes mellitus and coronary artery disease. Odds ratios and confidence intervals are shown for T2DM (light grey) and CAD (dark grey) respectively. For each risk factor, a p value shows significance for T2DM and CAD respectively. HDL-C was analyzed as a categorical variable with a threshold of ≥35 mg/dL for increased T2DM risk. A ratio of TC/HDL-C ≥4 increased risk of CAD.
