Comparison of methods used by faculty members with most effective methods for students. Faculty members were asked to rank their current use of six teaching methods, where 6 = the most frequently used method and 1 = the least frequently used method. Students were asked to rank the six methods according the way they learned physiology concepts most effectively, where 6 = the most effective method and 1 = the least effective method.
