The fluorescence of the labelled V216C mutant increases in the course of trypsin digestion. The labelled V216C mutant (0.2 mg·ml⁻¹) was mixed with trypsin (0.01 mg·ml⁻¹) in 50 mM potassium phosphate buffer (pH 7.0).
