The CT values, number of amplification cycles to reach threshold detection, were obtained for MOR variants and for the control gene G6PD using RT-PCR. Comparative mRNA levels of each MOR variant were calculated as 2−ΔCT where ΔCT is the difference between the CT for each MOR variant and that of G6PD (n=4-8).
p<0.05 in comparison to males.
