Effect of MβCD on interaction of Ib with MDCK cells. MDCK cells were incubated in the absence (A) or presence (B) of 10 mM MβCD at 37°C for 30 min. ¹²⁵I-Ib was mixed with the cells and then incubated at 37°C for 60 min. Triton X-100-insoluble cell extracts were separated by sucrose density ultracentrifugation. Gradient fractions were subjected to SDS-PAGE, followed by autoradiography, as described in Materials and Methods.
