THP-1 cells were exposed to 1 μg/ml LPS, 1 μg/ml PGN, 0.1 μg/ml R848 as well as 0.1 μg/ml SCF for different periods of time. XOD activity, intracellular UA levels and S2448 mTOR phosphorylation were analysed as described in Materials and Methods. Results are shown as mean values ± S.D. of at least three independent experiments (n = 3–5).
