Effect of PD98059 on SP-induced cell proliferation. MSCs were seeded in 96-well plates at 2 × 10³ cells/well in normal culture medium. After a 24 h culture for cell adherence, MSCs were cultured in normal culture medium containing SP (0 or 10 ng/mL), or SP (10 ng/mL) with the ERK 1/2 inhibitor PD98059 (10 µM).
