Inhibition of autocatalytic activation of factor C by Triton X-100. Wild-type factor C (8.6 nm) was incubated with lipopolysaccharides (59 nm) under various concentrations of Triton X-100 and assayed with Boc-Val-Pro-Arg-pNA.
