Unbinding force (Funb) of unphosphorylated myosin from actin measured using the laser trap assay. The measurements were performed with unregulated actin filaments (1nM) (N=20) and actin filaments (1nM) regulated by CaD (10nM) (N=14), or by CaD (10nM) + tropomyosin (10nM) (N=14) or tropomyosin (5nM to 50nM) (N=14). The results are reported as average force per myosin head. CaD: Caldesmon, Tm: tropomyosin and *: p < 0.05.
