Figure 4. Chronic, but not acute exposure to TL1A can induce IL-13 expression in ILC.

Figure 4

(a) ICOS and IL-13eGFP expressing cells were quantitated in mesenteric lymph node following four consecutive doses over four days of either PBS, IL-25 (2 μg/dose), IL-33 (0.5 μg/dose), or TL1A (5 μg/dose) given to Il13+/eGFP reporter mice. Dot plots are gated on lineage (CD3CD4CD8CD19CD11bCD11cFcεR1) negative cells. Examples are representative of 3–5 mice per group. (b) ICOS and IL-13eGFP expressing cells were quantitated in mesenteric lymph node and lamina propria from Il13+/eGFP reporter mice untreated, given 2 μg of IL-25 for four consecutive days, or crossed to CD2-TL1A transgenic mice. (c) il25 and il33 mRNA were measured by qRT-PCR in the ileum of CD2-TL1A transgenic mice and normalized to the average levels found in wild-type age-matched controls and analyzed with Mann Whitney (**p<0.01).
