Bar height represents responding to the compound ABC in the different conditions. The difference between conditions found by Myers et al. (2001; left) was statistically significant, whereas Ploog (2008, middle) did not find a statistically significant difference between the conditions. The simulation (right) reproduces this pattern of results.
