Hemodynamics of contrast agent obtained with dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI signal intensity time course (in arbitrary units), for voxel. Time course of enhancement is depended on physiological parameters of microvasculature in lesion, and on volume fractions of various tissue compartments. For bolus injection of contrast agent into blood circulation, there is always initial increase in its concentration in plasma.
