Model 1 is adjusted for age, sex and study group. Model 2 additionally adjusted for social class and occupation. Model 3, as for Model 2 and additionally adjusting for cardio-protective medication at one year. D: primary composite CVD outcome; Y: # of person years at risk (per 1000). Clustering by GP practise taken into account in all models. Health score range 0 to 4 possible points. CVD, cardiovascular disease.
