C2C12 cells express Ucn2, CRF-R1 and CRF-R2 (A). Incubating C2C12 cells with Ghrelin did not affect Ucn2 (B) and CRF-R1 expression (C and D), but increased CRF-R2 levels (E and F). Incubating C2C12 cells with des-acyl Ghrelin increased CRF-R1 (G and H) and CRF-R2 levels (I and J). The examples shown are representative of three experiments. * p<0.05 vs. control
