Targeted gene knockdown by dual-ligated siRNA SNAs. Compared with gene expression levels in untreated cells, both GFP and GAPDH protein expression levels are significantly reduced in GFP-C166 mouse cells treated with dual-ligated GFP/GAPDH SNAs. Error bars indicate standard deviation of the mean from three independent experiments. The same siRNA sequences transfected using the commercially available transfection agent, DharmaFect, served as a positive control.
