Performance of the Manchester Acute Coronary Syndromes decision rule in the derivation study. The suggested disposition for each group is as follows: ‘Very low risk’—discharge immediately (estimated probability, p, of MACE <0.02); ‘low risk’—admit to low dependency environment, for example, emergency department observation unit, 0.02≤p<0.05); ‘moderate risk’—admit to acute ward, for example, medical admissions unit (0.05≤p<0.95); ‘high risk’—admit to coronary care unit or high dependency environment (p≥0.95).
