Glucocorticoid (GC) treatment promoted NPC proliferation. Cell proliferation was measured by absorbance using Cell 96 AQueous One Assay kit. The average absorbance data were expressed as percentages of untreated samples. P values were calculated by comparing with untreated samples (n = 3). *P < 0.05, **P < 0.01.
