The effects of HFD and PE on liver TG and cholesterol contents. SD rats were administered either saline or two doses of PE (50 mg/dkg/day or 150 mg/kg/day) in the HFD groups. After 8 weeks of feeding, the rats were sacrificed, serum was collected, and the liver tissues of the control, HFD, and HFD with 150 mg/kg/day PE treatment groups were used for analysis.
