Three EsaR direct targets with unknown physiological function, CKS-0678 encoding the C-terminal fragment of a threonine dehydratase, esaS encoding a small RNA, and dkgA encoding a 2,5-diketo gluconate reductase, are not included in the diagram. Also not included in the figure is the yjbEFGH operon, whose promoter is only weakly bound by EsaR.
