FIG 6

Activity of parental rH1N1 RNP complex reconstituted with P9 virus-derived PA I129T and PB1 A469T mutants. A combination of four plasmids expressing RNP components of parental rH1N1 virus (PB2, PB1, PA, and NP), luciferase reporter plasmid pYH-Luci, and an internal renilla control plasmid were transfected into 293T cells. Mutant PA I129T or PB1 A469T plasmid was substituted for the corresponding wild-type rH1N1 plasmids as indicated. Values shown represent means ± SD for three independent experiments, normalized to the activity of parental rH1N1 RNP complex (100%). *, P < 0.05 compared to the correspondingly transfected rH1N1 response.
