The accent label and the end of each line are plotted at the average formant frequency (across tokens) at 75% of the vowel duration, and each line originates at the average formant frequency at 25% of the vowel duration. There was a larger movement of the formants across the 25 and 75% points of the vowels in the AusE than in CE.
