A. Accelerated rotorod test (4 to 40 rpm, 5 min) performed in control (KCC3f/f) and tissue-specific knockout (Nav1.8-CRE x KCC3f/f) mice. Test was given three times a day for 3 consecutive days. The latency to fall from the rotating rod to the platform was measured in seconds. B. Locomotor activity as measured by the distance traveled (cm) in the open filed chamber over a period of 60 min. Statistical analyses showed no significant differences between groups (see text). N = 8–9 mice per group.
