Different effects of Ca2+ on the MBCs of KCM21 against the two bacterial strains. The bactericidal activity of KCM21 was assayed in phosphate buffer system. The MBCs of both bacterial strains were decreased rapidly. An application of CaCl2 (0.3 mM) significantly delayed the decrease of MBC against Peudomonas. syringae pv. tomato DC3000 cells (B), but not against Clavibacter michiganensis subsp. michiganensis cells (A).
