Yeast cells were incubated in half-strength SD medium containing anabasine (50 µM), anatabine (50 µM), berberine (50 µM), scopolamine (50 µM), C3G (75 µM), or rutin (50 µM) for 6 h. The cells were collected by centrifugation, and the cellular content of each substance was quantitatively analyzed.
