Binding of Pg to immobilized γ′-Fn or γA-Fn as determined by surface plasmon resonance. After immobilizing γ′-Fg (triangles and dashed lines) or γA-Fg (circles and solid lines) onto a CM4 chip, the Fg was converted to Fn by injection of thrombin (closed symbol) or batroxobin (open symbol). Pg, at concentrations ranging from 0 to 30 μm, was injected into the flow cells, and the corrected RU values at equilibrium (Req) were plotted versus the initial Pg concentration. The KD values ± S.D. were determined by nonlinear regression analysis of the data (lines).
