Here, the more limited human conservation of TCR-facing residues for the T-cell epitope in Influenza A/H1N1 2009/CA (pH1N1; three 9-mers, with 0, 2, or 8 human conserved epitopes), contrasts with a similar epitope in H7N9 (three 9-mers, with 9, 13, or 2 human conserved epitopes).
