The most important finding in this study was that Tregs were downregulated markedly (Fig. 5). This was critical in cancer immunotherapy because in our previous study on cancer treatment we observed that in most cases, particularly in terminal cancer patients Tregs index were very high, which resulted in inhibition of activity of vast majority of immune cells. Inhibition of Tregs was our major target in this method and it was corresponding to the efficacy of treatment directly.
