Biofilm formation by the bacterial isolates. Adherence to glass surface was used as a proxy for bacterial ability to form biofilm and it was quantified based on absorbance at 590 nm after staining the attached bacteria with crystal violet and re-dissolving the stain with ethanol. All values are means (n = 3) and vertical lines are ±1 standard error of the mean. The two groups (12 and 24 h) were analyzed separately using one-way ANOVA followed by Tukey’s HSD test for multiple mean comparisons, α = 0.05.
